Ace Institute of Management and DarazKaymuare jointly organized DCCS (Daraz Championship Case Study), a first of its kind event in Nepal at Kathmandu’s Hotel Yak & Yeti, on 22nd July, 2017.The winners of the competition received a total of Rs. 175,000 as prize money (Rs100,000 for the winner, Rs. 50,000 for the runner up and Rs. 25,000 for the second runner up). The event, initiated with an objective of providing a platform to young innovative minds to showcase their creative and analytical talent, received amazing response from the management colleges and business community.
A total of 18 business colleges participated in the event namely, Kings College, British College, Uniglobe College, Whitehouse International College, Malpi, Islington, Universal College, KIST College, Kantipur Valley College, Apex College, VS Niketan, Rajdhani College, Swayambhu International College, NAMI, NCC, KMC, along with Ace International Business School and Ace Institute of Management.
The Preliminary Round of the event was held at Ace Institute of Management, New Baneswor on Saturday, 15th July, 2017. 6 best teams out of 18 will compete for the top spot in the Final Round to be held at Hotel Yak & Yeti on 22nd July, 2017.
DCCS is a part of Daraz Future Leadership Program (DFLP), designed to bring out the best in an individual and provide opportunities to showcase one’s abilities and explore their full potential.
DCCS has previously been conducted in Bangladesh and Pakistan, and is now organized in Nepal with the same vision to harness the growth of young innovative minds. DCCS is the first ever National Level Case study competition in Nepal with a huge caliber and prospect to grow even bigger in the future.
